Robitussin Extra Strength Mucus & Phlegm Syrup

Robitussin Extra Strength Mucus and Phlegm Syrup is specifically designed to help chest congestion caused by colds, looseness of mucus and phlegm, and soothe the throat. This alcohol-free syrup is available in the area of the chest that you need the most to make you feel better throughout the day and night.

Direction: Adults (12 years and above): Consume 2 teaspoons (10 ml) 6 hourly. Not to exceed 4 doses per day. Children below 12 years: should not be used.

Caution: Do not take any other cough and cold medicines with the medication in case you have an allergy to any of the ingredients listed. Do not use without asking the doctor or pharmacist in case you have had or are having a persistent or chronic cough (as it is, with smoking), difficulty breathing, other chronic lung disease (such as asthma or emphysema), or are under doctor care, pregnant or breastfeeding. Stop and consult a physician in case of worsening of the symptoms, which take more than 7 days, are accompanied by a strong fever (>38 0 C), rash or intense headache, whether you cough thick yellow or green sputum. Keep out of reach of children. Call a poison control centre or a doctor immediately in any case of overdosing.

Ingredients

Active Ingredient (per 5ml / 1 teaspoon): Guaifenesin 200 mg -purpose: Expectorant.

Inactive Ingredients: Corn syrup, sodium benzoate, flavour, glycerin, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium saccharin, sorbitol and water, citric acid, FD&C Red No. 40.
